This is always the case for me on an Asus EEE 901. Touchpad sensitivity is very
slow, and the sensitivity slider (System-Preferences-Mouse) does nothing. The
acceleration slider works, though, but it is not what I want.

Recurring event do not show up properly for me either. Some do and some don't.
I'm guessing here but maybe it's do to with a recurring event being set up
which displays ok, but then if you make an one off change to 1 of the recurring
events, then it screws it

Yes, my workstation has that problem to. Jaunty, upgraded from Intrepid.
Sensitivity slider has no effect.
The default sensitivity with a mouse is acceptable so it isn't a huge problem.

I have the same problem. Evince doesn't print large pdf-files. I've got
a 1.2 MB file, which it simply doesn't print. The printer defaults and
sends the message broken pipe. Then I split the pdf-files into parts
using print to pdf-file. The parts appear to be

printed instantly and fast and the whole job was printed at once. So

I'm a recent open source convert, and have faced some problems with
Evolution 2.24.3. I'm using it with the Ubuntu 8.10 based Easy Peasy on
ASUS Eee PC1000H.

The fix is only partial. Evolution realizes when the internet connection
is lost/disabled while it is running. But when I close Evolution while
there is connectivity, then disable networking, then re-start Evolution,
it does not switch to offline mode but tries to contact the server(s).

It happen on laptop after games like supertux, extremetuxracer and others
situations.
I have Jaunty Jackalope.
The problem is often the icons remain blocked near the network manager icon and
the compiz fusion icon, making a frustante.

Some of the actions tried are: reply-to, compose new, change view to
calendar. Hang ups last for up to 5 minutes. Other applications on
computer not effected.
