I think you're asking for a global setting for the view of time and that
things like the panel clock and the printing from your web browser
should use it. That seems a reasonable request to me.
I had a look, and the Locale environment variable LC_TIME does seem to
be able to set this - not sure

If you use Gnome, go to /home/${USER_NALE}/.gvfs./

Yeah, that works. I was not aware about that solution. I can also
confirm that issue was present when i was connecting through my WWAN
card using manual scripts. When i was using network-manager everything
works flawlessly. I guess this can be closed now.

I can confirm that this is still an issue on Maverick. Tested with an
MKV with embedded subtitles -- I get the italics tag instead of text
displayed in italics. If I use mkvextract to extract the subtitles to
an external .srt file, and then select this file in Totem, the subtitles

I use ubuntu 10.10 and brasero 2.32.0 . the burn speed is low(16x) and the

I am using Ubuntu Netbook 10.10 on a Samsung Q1Ultra. Why is the Importance of
this ticket so low?
I tried using the Alt trick to move the dialogs around, but I could still not
get the Evolution Preferences main dialog to show any buttons at the bottom.
Why does this window need to be so tall?
I see this issue appearing randomly too.
Yesterday I did not get any results, today it works.
One thing I changed in between was that I reinstalled a LM7 box with LM10. The
box I checked the network on was LM10 on both days.
