Neither "echo -e '\a'" nor any of the usual actions produce any sound in
GNOME terminal. Please return the system bell or provide an adequate
substitution. No sound is not an option! ("beep" makes a noise, so
pcspkr and alsmaixer are fine.)

sidebar was intentionally removed by the Vinagre developer.
I reported the missing ability to edit or delete bookmarks to the
developer.

The bookmarks sidebar is no longer available. Unable to edit or delete existing
bookmarks.
Able to add new bookmarks however they can not be edited afterwards.
Bookmarks sidebar is missing from enclosed screenshot. No options to
restore it in the menus.

I also find it to be very annoying that a new instance of gedit is
opened whenever I open another file by double clicking or right clicking
on it. I want all text files to open in the same instance.
