I also use Compaq Persario CQ40 with Oneric 64bit and I also face exactly the
same issue.
Even if the battery is 70%, it say battery critically low and laptop suspends
when on battery power.
My Oneric version is not Beta version it is the stable version I installed
yesterday.

updated from 2.6.35-28 to 2.6.35-30 and on reboot was unable to login to

unresolved. I am experiencing this issue on Ubuntu/Xubuntu 11.04. The
problem is that somehow dpms calls are being made to turn the backlight

Funnily enough on older Ubuntu releases : this file is correctly
associated with libreoffice/openoffice AND it can be successfully opened
with file-roller (as docx files are zip files). But on Oneiric the file
is wrongly associated with file-roller and file-roller cannot even

the Zoom In/Out and Normal Size in the Nautilus View menu. Going on two
years without packaging these icons and it would be nice if they were

I consider this a good test case for this bug. Same problem whether you
use Python2 or Python3 (but for Novacut, we care about Python3).

Lack of GstMiniObject means Gst.Message is broke

My keyboard doesn't even have a num-lock key (no numpad) and it says
this on the lock screen. It is connected via a KVM switch so not sure if
that is affecting anything. I can test this later.
