What I did is just a workaround, but I don't think that many users use Unity
with transparent panel and without AppMenu, so it's fixed for 90% of users.
Maybe it'll also be efficient to change if (proxy != NULL) check to
if (proxy != NULL g_str_has_prefix(...)).

need Alt+^ because it cannot be switched off (as far as I can see). I
use Emacs, where Alt+^ is an important functionality. Besides, Alt+^ is
of little help on small keyboards with Fn key.

I mostly use a USB mouse, but have noticed this happening on a Dell XPS
M1330 as well.

Oh everything starts with window decorator disappearing along with unity
all together Ctrl+Alt T does not bring the terminal up and if I open a

I think bug #859104 is a completely separate issue, and this one does
not effect libnautilus-extension. The API to programmatically add
emblems to files is still in Nautilus. However, without gobject-
introspection support for libnautilus-extension, it would be very
difficult to write extensions
Is it possible that it's not the bug of gnome-session (I was reported
as)? Maybe it should be moved to the right package, at least deletion of
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/20desktop-profiles_activateDesktopProfiles helped,
and that file is part of pacakge desktop-profiles and rdepends on

Could you please paste how exif prints the date for reference? Using command:
exif --no-fixup the-photo.jpg | grep -i date
(Install exif by sudo apt-get install exif, if exif is not installed.)

Screenshot from ronsonk exactly describes the problem for me too. Reboots don't
fix it. I'm using Nvidia proprietary drivers. I noticed the problem for the
first time today, the install (since fresh a week ago) has been fine until now.
