For me, e-addressbook-factory was not running after I quit evolution.
I re-started evolution, killed e-addressbook-factory while evolution was
running and then it appeared after I exited evolution.
At the moment, all is working as expected.

I see this behavior on five(!) Aspire one D250-Netbooks with Ubuntu
12.04.1. It's not a typing problem - the password entered is just not
recognized. On all machines are two different user accounts and this

Nautilus does not report size used or free of blank CD

running. Instead of shuting down, a message appears sayng that a program is

When I open the Details settings panel, I can click the Install Updates
button on the bottom right when updates are available. When I click that
button, Update Manager opens and (as is the default behaviour) begins
checking for updates. This does not fit nicely with the label

it is when launching a new window or switching desktops, but it happens
within about 20 min of normal use.

that's not the only bug and not the most requested fix and resources are
limited so it can take some time, help on backporting and test the fix
are welcome though

Does gnome-control-center really trigger and update or is it just

is rather dated and isn't really supported. Upstream has made quite a
few changes in the 3 release cycles since 3.0, and Debian is shipping
