It would happen with MKV, too.
Changing subtile seems to be OK. When I turn off subtitle, it would happen.
I hope someone fix it ASAP. Because totem shows wrong subtitles (probably the
former subtitles), I want to turn it off but totem freeze everytime.

William, thanks for the update!
With packages from modifier-only-input-switch ppa, I was able to set
Alt+Shift as the layout switch, and all key combinations
Alt+Shift+something now work fine.
Tested on
- IntelliJ IDEA (Alt+Shift+O to lookup/open a file)
- JIRA web running in Firefox
Same problem with a logitech bluetooth mx1000 using the supplied
logitech bluetooth usb adapter.
$ xinput --list

Sorry for the late reply.
If I set muhenkankey only to cycle forward to next keyboard layout it will
not change the layout (according to the icon) and the keyboard layout stays the
same. If I set muhenkan + shift key to cycle forward it will change both
the icon and the keyboard layout.

I have this problem with an iPhone.
When connecting my iPhone via USB for the first time after boot,
everything works fine.
But if I unplug the phone and plug it back in later, I get the effect
described here: a message box pops up saying Unable to mount Max's
iPhone | Location is already
