Since a recent Evince update, it is not possible to use the mouse wheel to
scroll up and down the document when not in focus.
However, it is possible to use the double-finger scroll on the trackpad.
This is an extremely useful thing when working with split screen, like when

I just want to share a workaround which I've found on several russian
forums.
1. Let you have cleanly installed 13.10. You might want to add some additional
keyboard layouts if you didn't do that during the installation. For me, there
are RU and EN layouts.
2. English layout must be the first on
It is fixed for me. 13.10 fresh install and update.

Apparently, if I use the "intel" driver instead of the "modesettings"
driver, I can't reproduce the problem. This is not a bug in the nvidia
driver, it's definitely an issue in the modesetting driver.

When I actually went to that bug I saw it was a dupe itself of the 2nd bug
mentioned.
In any case shotwell (shotwell viewer) is vnot seen in Details in 14.04
Also the same for a new package "mpv"
In both cases is NoDispl
I can reproduce this when using the nvidia driver and offloading
rendering to it using RandR on an NVIDIA Optimus system. This is what
nvidia-prime does and what NVIDIA suggests on their website.

Can some please confirm this bug? It is not likely that I'm the only one

Additionally, I'd like to note that this is not only occurring when
checking the properties of a file; it also happens when you right-click
on a folder and select "Properties" as well.

At present, I could only speak for kubuntu/kde. The problem is gone when
using 'Radiance' as 'GTK2 Theme'. However, if I understand the KDE guys
right, this simply means that libglib is NOT used. Per consequence the

On playing attached .vob file totem is throwing a stream error message:
"Internal data stream error."
The error occures arround second 20 of the video file and is

Steps to reproduce:
1.Download the attached video file
2.Open it with totem and play it
3.Wait un

After having installed a number of standard Kubuntu updates since I
first noticed this problem it appears to have gone away. I had tried
switching from Oxygen to something else but am now back on Oxygen and

My nautilus does not have the issue anymore.
The name column does not have fixed width now.
Therefore I considered this case would be closed.
Right now, for me, this is the problem.

I don't use seahorse, so I could remove libgcr-3-1 after the fix for
gnome-keyring was committed. I haven't encountered any problems so far.
