Hi,
After latest update of the following components from 2014-02-14 :
libglib-2.0-0 and libc-bin my X.org always crashes when resuming from a
suspend, causing a hard reboot. The strange thing is that the next
reboot causes the same thing, and afterwards everything is OK again

As Markus says, xim worked at first, but now (on trusty) it stops
working in certain circumstances. I made it work by switching with ibus,
logging out, and switching back then I restarted (I guess logging out
would have done it, though). But it stopped working when I switched
tty's by pressing Ctrl

I would love to have a word with the developer of this feature and I wonder how
this went through QA. It's so obviously broken that it looks like the "feature"
was never tested. And I also wonder what takes so long to just remove the
unwanted "feature".

Like Steve O comment, remove the extra "fi" at line 79 solves the problem.

This appears to be fixed in gdm version (3.10.0.1-0ubuntu3) trusty but
I'll follow up more during the Trusty Beta testing cycle as I'll need to
test Saucy -> Trusty upgrades at that time.
