I'm getting this same bug on 13.10 64-bit with Nautilus 3.8.2. Whenever
I click on the icon for the share, it pulls up gedit with the same error
that others have reported above. When I hit Ctrl-L and type in the name
of the share, it works fine.

Found the dconf setting which makes this available again
(org.gnome.desktop.wm.keybindings.panel-run-dialog). For some reason it
was set to ['disabled'] on my test system - no idea why. Setting it back
to its default value makes Alt+F2 show the Run dialog again.

Under Ubuntu 14.04 beta, in Gnome Flashback Session with Metacity, the
Alt hotkey doesn't work anymore for moving windows. In Ubuntu 12.04
pressing Alt key and clicking into a window could be used to move the
window; this doesn't work anymore.

I finally fixed this problem for myself, hopefully my experience will
help others.
I've had the multi-window spawning problem with nautilus in the past (on
this host/instance of ubuntu 10.04) but fixed it. And now, late last
night I had this problem start up seemingly out of the blue.

I have the same problem on multiple drives, multiple systems. The only
thing that changes is the offset. On a 3 Terabyte drive attached to an
internal interface with GUID partition table (model WDC WD3001FAEX-
00MJRA0 (01.01L01)) I get: Error seeking to offset 30005927936 (g-io-
