gimp_wire_read being part of my problem)
in 2.8 I had "gimp-2.8 crashed with SIGSEGV in completion_match_func"
both were immediately after Save As (2.6) or Export As (2.8) a PNG input file
as a PNG (with a new name)
It seems that
errors.ubuntu.com has indicated the following error reports came after
this update so it has not been fully rolled out. I am investigating if
this change has caused them.

I did have to upgrade oxygen as specified by David, too, as even with
the Raleigh theme I was getting failures (much less frequent or
reproducible than before upgrading libgtk, though). After upgrading
oxygen, I didn't experience any further failures.
Of course, now I'm in the process of upgradin

No, we are speaking here of fr/oss, but before it got right Ctrl as
level5 modifier (what this bug end up changing).

I'm pretty sure some of the other spacebar configurations available as
xkb options do not require level5. They are not
Please add this support! I see no point in omitting it; it's just a
configure flag (and having bogofilter installed at build time).
Bogofilter is much nicer than SA IMO.

Hotkeys not functional in non-latin keyboard layout in 13.10 and 14.
It changes the behaviour completely and therefore disrupts people's
existing workflow. Therefore it should be configurable, or at least have
an option to set a delay.
