[Bug 1469221] Re: Move to webkit2gtk in main
Hi, upstream WebKit developer here. I just want to mention that WebKit1 is no longer receiving security updates, so if you only want one version in main, it would be good to use WebKit2 instead if possible. Porting everything to WebKit2 is going to be a years-long process, I'm afraid, though your help could speed that up a lot (thanks!). (I guess this doesn't make too much difference for you, since I see your WebKit2 package is still on 2.6.2 from last October. Imagine not updating Firefox in that time. Maybe you don't realize, but each new version includes fixes for mistakes that allow web sites to take control of your computer. 2.6.5 includes a fix for a mistake in the TLS code that results in your session cookies being sent to attackers. We are unfortunately very bad at announcing these problems and need to do better. Anyway, the current recommended version is 2.8.3.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to shotwell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1469221 Title: Move to webkit2gtk in main To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/shotwell/+bug/1469221/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1471845] [NEW] Saving as draft moves the cursor at the top
Public bug reported: As I write an email I use File, Save as Draft (CTRL+S) from time to time. But then the cursor goes at the top of the text. Instead it should stay at the current position. Before version 3.2 I have not seen this effect, but in 3.10 it is still there. I have reported this upstream: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=750139. Upstream says that Evolution 3.10 is very old and that this bug won't be fixed in this version. The bug is fixed in 3.16. Could you please fix this himself? Because Ubuntu 14.04 is LTS and it contains this old Evolution 3.10. Thank you. lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS Release:14.04 apt-cache policy evolution evolution: Installiert: 3.10.4-0ubuntu2 Installationskandidat: 3.10.4-0ubuntu2 Versionstabelle: *** 3.10.4-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.10.4-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1471845 Title: Saving as draft moves the cursor at the top To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1471845/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1471284] [NEW] System doesn't shutdown anymore
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 dev and for a few days I'm noticing that my system doesn't fully shutdown anymore. If I'm shutdown the system from the desktop environment (LXDE desktop with LXDM as login manager) the graphical interface exits and it hangs then while showing the console output. The last line in this output is Unmounting local filesystems ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- System doesn't shutdown anymore https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1471284 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
