Public bug reported:
On Lubuntu 15.04, when trying to open Evince with GTK+ Broadway backend,
Evince reports incomplete errors and then ends.
In first terminal:
$ broadwayd -a 127.0.0.1 -p 8889 :2
Listening on /run/user/1000/broadway3.socket
In second terminal:
$ GDK_BACKEND=broadway BROADWAY_
Public bug reported:
On Lubuntu 15.04 the broadway man page says:
Start your applications like this:
BROADWAY_DISPLAY=:5 gtk3-demo
But the command I had to use is
GDK_BACKEND=broadway BROADWAY_DISPLAY=:5 gtk3-demo
Is that a bug in man page or in the library?

Hi, I took a look at this issue. While the upstream bug was closed quite
some time ago, a fixed version seems to have landed in Ubuntu only quite
recently. The typo is fixed in empathy 3.12.9-1ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 15.04
(see attached screenshot), but it looks like all older releases are
still affected
Is this still a thing? This hasn't moved in two years, and this kind of
massive redesign work isn't somethign which we should discuss at the
distro level, but at upstream. I suggest discussing that on
http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/systemd-devel or providing
