@mpt yes, this is still an issue on Ubuntu 14.04LTS.
My /home partition fills up nearly every day (bad on an SSD also because of
write amplification).

The log spam is useuless repetive stuff like:

#15 workaround works partially.I have two accounts on my computer. It
works only for the first person that logs in.

Typing "systemctl rescue" in a running system brings down the system and
prompts
Welcome to rescue mode! After logging in, type "journalctl -xb" to view
system logs, "systemctl reboot" to reboot, "systemctl default" or ^D to
boot into default mode.
Press Enter for maintenance
At least for me, the problem was solved after this week's update
(Xenial, 4.4.0-62-generic).
