Besides that some applications (for example the image viewer), when
asked to delete a photo only proposes the trash and not the immediate
deletion. So, we find these photos in the "pseudo-basket" and it must be
removed then to actually release the place

Does anybody care about this? This bug is present in the system for a
long time. Sometimes it occurs, sometimes works OK. Any known
workaround?

It is almost unbeliveable to me,
that this problem just passed your tests for the entire 16.10 cycle
and it is still present in 17.04 beta1
Now you have the chance to:
1) See it (you just need to expand the lower pane of update-manager)
2) Correct it before 17.04 release
