[Bug 1694373] Re: Gnome Shell app list scrolls too quickly with mouse wheel

2017-05-30 Thread Daniel van Vugt
Touchpad scrolling is covered by bug
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=707973
but I think that's not relevant to mouse wheels.

[Bug 1694454] [NEW] Can't open gnome terminal

2017-05-30 Thread Plamen
Public bug reported:

Selecting gnome terminal after search(winkey->type "term"->select
Terminal), results in loading terminal for a few seconds and simply
disappearing of the loading indication from the title bar.

Nothing else happens. No error and no terminal shown.

This behavior appeared after upgrade to 17.04
I don't have such a problem when opening MATE Terminal.
Also when I run "gnome-terminal" in the mate terminal it outputs this:
"Error constructing proxy for org.gnome.Terminal:/org/gnome/Terminal/Factory0:
Error calling StartServiceByName for org.gnome.Terminal: Timeout was reached"

[Bug 1694373] Re: Gnome Shell app list scrolls too quickly with mouse wheel

2017-05-30 Thread Jeremy Bicha
Personally, this is much worse with a touchpad than with a mouse.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it
would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers
of the software by following the instructions at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please
tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a
bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance.

The GNOME term is "Activities Overview".

[Bug 1693895] Re: ubuntu budgie suspend to ram fails on Macbook Pro Ret

2017-05-30 Thread Kai-Heng Feng
It means there's a bug on kernel driver with runtime power management enable.
Runtime power management (RPM) is generally favorable because it can prolong
your battery time.
