Screen locks even though Screen Lo
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
New install of 18.04. Screen locks in a few minutes even though Screen
Lock turned off in privacy tab of settings. I've tried setting Blank
Screen to 15 minutes(in Power) but makes no difference.

I just installed Linux Mint 19 Tara and the help /doc says it is possible to
change the time servers

I appreciate the suggestions, but none quite fit my use case. It's
really 2 users wanting to share the fonts--one owns them and the other
has a symlink. If I put them in /usr/local/share/fonts/ then they don't
get backed up and can't be modified. I think the s

I have the same problem. I have installed Ubuntu 18.04 with Unity using
the mini ISO. So I don't have GNOME installed with Unity. Keyboard
shortcuts (e.g., launching Terminal or switching between keyboard
layouts) don't work. Adding sleep 5 before launching compiz in
/usr/lib/systemd/user/unity7.se
Still observing the issue.
Please change the value of importance to a sensible one, this is
medium/high.

I notice that if I launch gnome-control-center from the command line
with the "--verbose" option, when I'm on the WiFi tab it prints out all
SSIDs available at extremely high speeds. It seems like maybe the
periodic scan of networks is happening far too quickly. When I switch to

Chinese locale. Very inconvenient and unexpected. Should follow the
16.04 approach in which libpinyin is selected as the default Chinese
input method. The user can subsequently change to his or her preferred
method.
