Thanks, that confirms gnome-shell's CPU usage is due to Chrome redrawing. Moving the cursor is a different bug (https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/issues/283) so be careful to not confuse the two. A third and unrelated issue is that your monitor is only running at 40Hz even though it supports
