I had this bug in 19.10, just uninstalled Nvidia driver and used nouveau, however I just clean installed 20.04, forgot about the bug and ran into it again. This time I had time to mess around, and ended up updating my bios from f40 to f50a which solved the issue for some reason. (GA-AB350M-Gaming
