1. Create a new gnome user and log in.
2. Build Rhythmbox 3.4.3 from source. This should take 15 mins + 200 MB

What's new : I can reproduce the problem on Ubuntu 20.04 live USB, so
I'm sure the root cause is not a broken config on my side.

I'm having the same issue - dead cursor appears after machine has gone
to sleep when I have multiple monitors connected. I'm on Ubuntu 20.04
and use Wayland, on an AMD GPU. I have updated everything with apt to
