[Bug 1870736] Re: [nvidia] Screen scaling 125% gives 200%
Hi, I can't use fractional scaling at all. When I enable it from the Settings in Gnome it just loads for a while (flickering black screen) and then reverts to Single Display. Switching back to Join Displays does nothing and I have to unplug and plug the external monitor back in. I am using "Nvidia Driver metapackage nvidia-driver-450" and "Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS" I have a RTX 2080 I am using a laptop with a 4K monitor and an external 4K monitor that is larger, so obviously I'd love to set different fractional scaling values per monitor but would settle for setting 150% for both. This seems like a common use case. Please let me know how I can help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1870736 Title: [nvidia] Screen scaling 125% gives 200% To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1870736/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1889998] [NEW] Toggling wifi power-management also toggles wifi connection
Public bug reported: How to reproduce the bug: * Open control center * Go to "Power" section on the left sidebar. * Toggle this button: "Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi can be turned off to save power" Expected behavior: * Wifi should no longer be turned off to save power. * Current wifi connection should stay on. Observed behavior: * All wifi connections are immediately disabled, irrespective of how idle the system is. It looks like this button is toggling the wrong underlying setting.
