Public bug reported:
If you have 2 monitors with different dpi, you may want different
scaling.
I am trying to set one monitor at 200% and another at 100% scaling.
when I try to select a scale for one monitor, it updates the scale for
the other monitor as well.
This is not ideal.
Tested on
Public bug reported:
Ubuntu version: 20.10
Gnome version: 3.38.1
VScode version: 1.51.1
gnome-shell restarts on opening a file in vscode (no matter the version,
snap or deb version)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set vscode as default file editor
2. Open a txt file from one location
3. Minimize vscode
Okay, works for me.
Package version:
3.36.1-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 (amd64)
Details of testing:
I changed the update frequency to 0.5 and 0.25 seconds and the network
graph and stats continued to work, unlike before when the graph stopped
displaying meaningful information.

Follow-up to Comment #36: Although patching upower fixes the issue,
gnome-settings-daemon is still broken, since disabling notifications
