So has this bug been fixed? If so were would the fixed package be? If

fossfreedom, thanks for looking into this. This feature is not important
enough to cause a regression for Ubuntu Budgie this late in the
development cycle.
We do plan to let these libadwaita app autosync once 22.10 development
starts though.

The new GNOME Characters app significantly improves the usability of the app,
upgrading the Unicode support from something like Unicode 9 all the way to
Unicode 14.

glib doesn't support `x-terminal-emulator` so the first found supported
terminal emulator (which will be mate-terminal in Ubuntu MATE) will be
used, regardless of what preferred applications or alternatives have
been configured.
This is why panels/launchers will favour mate-terminal in Ubuntu

Attaching my journal for the current boot, where I have observed the
issue a few times already.
I'm seeing some critical error messages for gnome-session-binary and one
segfault, unsure whether this is related to the problem though.

Login screen sometimes unresponsive to mouse clicks (after waking from
sleep)

I read again the description and it says the login screen is
unresponsive, not that the screen doesn't wake up. Additionally the tab
key doesn't work to wake the screen for me, only Ctrl+Alt+F1. So it is a
different bug after all. I'll file a new one.

screen and let it blank, moving the mouse or pressing any key on the
keyboard won't wake it up. The only reliable workaround I've found is to
