1- Install VLC and worry about nothing.
2- get gstreamer1.0-vaapi_1.16.2-2_amd64.deb (from 20.04) and install
it (it's a downgrade) it will complain upon installation but it will

After upgrade to jammy, gdm somehow has defaulted to the English US
keymap. This is not my keymap of choice, and this is not the keymap

Could you comment upstream stating it's still an issue in the current
version? Also how important the bug is for OEM? Do we have preloaded
touch configs where it's an issue?

nothing, just a black screen. 3 - 6 gives me a terminal login screen.
