Neither the overview nor xscreensaver can work without grabs. So whoever
holds them first will win. I suspect this will never be fixable.
Note also that:
1. This will probably only ever be a problem in X11 with xscreensaver.
2. xscreensaver is no longer supported in Ubuntu.

I can confirm that updating to last xsane fronted, by rebuilding it from
source, solved the issue in Kubuntu 22.04. In my opinion the bug can be closed.
