[Bug 2017716] [NEW] Folders and files frequently need to be clicked twice
Public bug reported: Nautilus randomly drops about half of my mouse clicks. Clicked folders or files will sometimes open at once, yet the next time(s) fail to respond until clicked a second time. I am seeing this both on X11 and on wayland. Single or double click policy does not make any difference. I have experimented with different mouse speeds but have not seen any noticeable difference. This behaviour is, in fact, something that I already noticed when I was trying out Ubuntu 22.10. It was enough to send me back to 22.04. I was really hoping that the issue would be solved by now, but clearly it is not. [Bug 1532508] Re: Screen contents revealed briefly on resume, before even unlocking
Hi Seth, if only it would be that easy. Suspending and locking does not circumvent the problem. The only way to be safe is shutting down on leave and newly boot on return. Ubuntu is not safe here. Re: [Bug 2017528] Re: windows don't accept mouse input
Hi Daniel, attached the settings file. There was 2 extensions: ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions$ ls desaturate_all gnomebedt...@ionutbortis.gmail.com I removed them, we will see if issue comes back. This morning I got 3 or 4 freezes lasting 30 secs then stopping: they froze the machine completely and nothing shown in system monitor, nor in htop as both got frozen too. Will note the exact times issue occurs next time if any and look into the logs. Regards On Tue, 2023-04-25 at 04:45 +, Daniel van Vugt wrote: > Thanks for the bug report. > > Please: > > 1.
