icon theme, so it might be either firmware related or related to the new
store (https://github.com/ubuntu/app-center/issues). Not sure - I don't
recall seeing it myself.

Solved, not sure if a bug still exists but the animation for the 'locate
pointer' issue is due to the Accessibility->seeing->reduced animation setting
being turned on.
The 'show pointer' feature in screencast still does not turn on however I can
now press the left cntrl key to highlight the
