No 23.04 won't get a fix and also shouldn't have the bug, because it reached end-of-life in January; https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases That said, I've seen evidence that there might be other ways to trigger similar issues on Nvidia so it's possible other releases could get into a similar state
