Strangely my webcam (logitech c500) doesn't work with firefox but it
does work with chromium and epiphany. Even the LD_PRELOAD trick doesn't
work with firefox.

[Bug 648073] [NEW] ghost worms in gnibbles

2010-09-26 Thread Adam Niedling
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-games

Steps to reprocuce:

- Start a game with 1 human player and 5 AI's.
- Stop the game.
- Start a new game with 2 humans and 0 AI's.

Result:

There will be 2 worms that can be controlled by humans and there will be
4 worms from the first game not doing anything. It is possible to go
through them without dying. In the attached screenshot only the red and
the green worms should be there. The rest are ghosts standing in one
position. These ghosts should not be there.

I was able to reproduce this issue 100% of the times.

here.

Could you please re-evaluate if this can be part of the papercuts

[Bug 148291] Re: Unable to start the settings manager 'gnome-settings-daemon'.

2009-04-02 Thread Adam Niedling
I'm having the exact same issue with updated Intrepid. After first login
I get no theme. I have to log out and re-login to get the proper theme.
I also get a seahorse-agent crash report (similar to bug #282663 ), I
don't know if these two are related somehow. Please let me know if you
need any logs.

[Bug 157215] Re: Synchronizing with a time server does not work

2008-11-08 Thread Adam Niedling
Ryan: I was told that maybe this sync thing only works if there is only
a few minutes time difference. I don't know if it's true, but I don't
think this is a good behavior.

[Bug 294264] [NEW] workspace switcher shows twice as many workspaces than the value has been set

2008-11-05 Thread Adam Niedling
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I'm using Intrepid. Please see attached screenshot. (It's Hungarian but
I think it's easy to understand the problem) There are 4 workspaces on
the gnome panel when I set 2 and there are 2 workspaces when I set only
1. So there are twice as many workspaces to choose from the panel than I
actually have. Clicking on the second workspace takes me to the first
one, clicking on the forth one takes me to the second one. I tried to
remove and re-add the workspace switcher applet but the issue remained.

[Bug 203527] Re: Clicking on clock applet hangs gnome-panel

[Bug 203527] Re: Clicking on clock applet hangs gnome-panel

2008-09-26 Thread Adam Niedling
I'm still having this issue. My Ubuntu laptop hasn't been connected to
the internet since 10 days and maybe the clock applet is trying to get
some information from the net. I have 4 locations setup in the clock.
The whole panel is freezing when clicked on the clock. This happens
every time i click on it.

** Changed in: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
   Status: Fix Released = New

** Description changed:

- Hardy Alpha 6
+ Hardy

Left clicking on clock applet hangs gnome-panel. Gnome-panel won't come
up again even after killing X. Only killall -9 gnome-panel works.

Right clickin on clock does show the expected behaviour. There are no
locations in Clock Preferences / Locations. This seems to be the culprit
as adding one location fixes the behaviour.

Please stop reporting New Upstream Release x.y bugs. The devs know
when to make a new version of software part of Ubuntu. It's not a bug if
something is not updated right away when there is a new version. (And
you should have mentioned the name of the package in the bug description
