2.28.1-0ununtu1.1 does not seem to fix this problem on a Toshiba NB205:
g-p-m.log follows. acpi_listen only reports one lid switch event

For now I've put a hook in /etc/pm/sleep.d/ that will inhibit a suspend
less than 15 seconds after the previous resume.
