No i uninstalled all releated cinnamon with apt-get purge cinnamon*
apt-get autoremove, i did also restore of gnome-desktop and gnome-
session with dpkg-reconfigure command but i had to reinstall entire

Normally it would show 1 more red (i.e. Window) dot than necessary.

The computer view in nautilus isn't updated accordingly when a volume
is mounted through, for example, pmount/mount issued directly from the
terminal. I noticed this is not the case with the cdrom drive:
everything works as expected. As a side note, double-clicking on an
okie now the lpoptions file in .cups is updated accordingly and gnome-
cups-manager properly seems to parse it, problem is, I've just printed a
doc from evince but my personal settings are still ignored, it's the
system wide settings that are being used (i.e. stuff in /etc/cups/pppd)

After the last batch of updates it seems everything is back to normal:
now i can mount partitions through nautilus and chdir to the newly
mounted volume without having to hit the refresh button first. In
addition, everything seems to be working as expected even when the
partition is listed in
just rebooted and I am having this problem again, anyway, restarting
dbus seems to help... very weird

evince, you name it: all gnome apps relying on that lib are affected by

After installing preload hibernation has become impossible on my laptop with
edgy, I get an error about hal not hibernating. After removing preload all is
well again.
I am using compiz, which did not hibernate in dapper but now works well with
edgy.

Hello sebastien, please take a look at the upstream bug report, a patch
to deal with this issue has already been proposed a while back, I wonder
why it hasn't made it yet into gnome, I've just rebuilt nautilus with
this patch applied and everything looks great. Please consider including
this patch

suppose you want to print a 8 pages doc using only 1 physical sheet, the
most obvious thing i would do is (from the gtk print dialog):
- pages per sheet: 4
- print only: odd sheets
i'd expect to get pages 1-4 printed on the front side of my sheet, but i
end up with pages
