Don't think it will worth backporting patch to gtk+2.0, cause it won't be a
backport but a new patch, due to the way of how GtkStyleContext is different

Currently it's possible to specify a full font name, something like Ubuntu
Bold 8, but not relative. So we could have inconsistence both for the font
name and the font dimension the user could set.
In order to change that, a core change in Gtk+ is required.
That will come for upstream Gtk+ 3.2,

You could achieve that design only by adding a pixmap to be used as sidebar
background.
BUT the toolbar size could change depending on the font dimension, that means
the gradient across the sidebar and the toolbar will work only on the font size
was used to snapshot the pixmap
I already thought about that, but didn't have enough time this cycle :-)

what happens in mac os x? you're assuming we should copy windows's
behavior, why don't find a compromise of something to satisfy everybody?
ctrl alt del should give me a restart or so, rather than a system
