I am not finding this bug fixed by the changes in glib-2.19.6-0ubuntu2.
Specifically apport reports do not seem to work with the url becoming a

We have confirmed working CD drivers in Maverick with brasero therefore
it is most likely that any issues remaining are hardware specific, ie.
specific to the hardware combinations. Could those of you who are still
