Confirmed on T60p, 2007-AD1. Patched gnome-control-center mentioned by

Wrong handling of
Thinkpad T60p, 2007-AD1 here, same thing.
I have a sound for when gdm login window is complete, and a sound for
wrong password, but no gnome system sounds after login (e.g., no
system startup sound).
*Other* sounds work fine. I can play sound files from the command line.
However,
resolution of the second monitor,
I have attached my xorg.conf file however it is all set as the defaults
after I enabled twinview.
The maximum resolution I am offered is: 1360x768
If I alter the metamodes line in the xorg.conf file it disables my
monitor on the next xserver restart.

I can't confirm that it is still a problem in Breezy, as I have not

Dangit... Now I am back to the original problem I had, ie when right
clicking on the top of the window frame to... say... move the window to
another desktop, both monitors cycle through all the desktops. This is
right after the upgrade to the -15 kernel and I didn't see the nvidia
stuff for
the panel crashed and restarted again and launchpad hasn't done a thing
with any of it...

That was easy enough, and no joy. Brought the system back up and with
just Thunderbird and Firestarter open, I opened a File Browser window to
try and move it to another desktop, and same thing; both screens cycle

It's still doing the same thing, except it's gotten worse. When you
right click on the window frames, to try and move a window to a
different desktop, it cycles through all the windows on both desktops.
I had a workaround, I could minimize the window to the task bar and
could right click it

Evolution hangs up every time I try to accept a meeting invitation with
attachments. Seems to me that it used to actually crash when doing
that. I'm currently running edgy (evolution 2.8.1-0ubuntu4, evolution-

Oops. I replied to Pedro via email instead of posting it here. This
was with a large map. I've no idea about the compiz question.
At any rate, I was able to solve the problem. Open gconf-editor, click
on gnomine. In the right panel, you'll see a checkbox for
fullscreen. I unchecked it and
