I don't disagree that this is an issue in nautilus which should be

that must be taken into account; this invalidates the issue as a
papercut since it is not trivial to fix.

Agreed with last comment. This does not qualify as a papercut since
changing it as proposed could be seen as a regression by people who may
prefer the current implementation; thus this change should either be
done upstream, or requires the analysis of the design team to provide
guidance first.
Agreed with seb, this is probably a dupe of bug #15495, or at least both
bugs need to be fixed the same way.
A design decision also needs to be made about what phrase to actually
change it *to*. Mount ISO as drive sounds reasonable to me, but I
don't know if people will grok ISO or drive. Maybe
Given the roundabout discussion in all the comments above, I think it's
pretty evident this is not a papercut. Several solutions have been
proposed, including renaming (which is easy) and reworking the UI (which
is a little harder) and adding hooks to hardware events like CD eject
buttons (hard),
This is filed against hundredpapercuts, however it's not clear from the
discussion what the design decision is. That should probably be done
before this is accepted as a papercut.
