When trying to view a keyboard layout, the window is always empty. I

In gnome-terminal, when I press CTRL+a, nothing happens. I must press
CTRL+q to go at the line beginning.
You have to know that I have two layouts configured in gnome: us and fr.
In the french layout, the key 'a' is on key 'q' on an us
I have just tested with a user created for the test. The bug still
appears. I have two layouts configured: 'USA Macintosh' and 'France
Alternative'.
When using the 'USA Macintosh' layout and the macbook qwerty keyboard,
everything is fine. I can type Ctrl+a to go to the beginning of the
line.

I attach a screenshot which shows the problem. It's clear that the wave
color is different. Moreover, sometimes, Evince does not display the
wave at all but displays a black rectangle.

Since the update of April 1st, the dual screen support is buggy (it
worked fine yesterday morning and the days before).
- The Gnome panel is now on the laptop screen but it was on the main
screen before (which I prefered).

The latest update made things really bad for me. My laptop screen is
below my primary monitor. This setup worked very well until yesterday.
