1. I can't see the relation between this bug and the upstream bug related
2. I use to read a lot of complaints from devs saying that there's no solution
that would be good for all file formats (mp3, ogg, wav, wma). So I say: who

«from:» field doesn't show the name of the contact which sent my the
email.
This makes hard to recognize whose email is that if the sender hasn't
configured well his settings.

this happened to me too, when I was using ext4 it was way more frequent.
Now that I'm using ext3, it happened again.
I removed all ibex.index files and folders.db in ~/.evolution/mail/local and
the index was rebuilt and evolution now goes fine.
I made an evolution backup when my evolution was
this still happens with 12.04...
is there any research on this issue?

I don't like to play with bug reports, but this bug is still present in quantal
12.10.
It's still not clear where's the problem: upstream says totem already supports
MPRIS2 (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640644#c3)
