Since Jaunty, ubuntu uses a fade-in effect when you change the
background. This nice effect kind of goes to waste though, since the
user does not change the background very often.
There IS a guaranteed background change every session, though: the
Onkar, it turns out I hadn't installed vcdimager, that's why brasero
couldn't burn (or create) the image.
Anyway, shouldn't brasero prompt you to install missing packages? I
would never have guessed that I had to install that particular package,
were it not for this report.

I am sure it's not a mouse issue, as can be seen in the screenshot. I

couple improvements:
-The window title and text are more informative, now you see exactly what

when they finished being downloaded with Transmission. Also, if you open
a directory with videos before installing their necessary codecs you
will get the generic icons, and installing the codecs afterwards will do
no good.

~/.thumbnails/fail folder. If you do, nautilus will try to generate it

-All items under the apps menu open their own apps, not nautilus windows. There
already is a menu entry

Jaunty sports a new volume applet. While it IS cool, it uses the glide
animation instead of the less obstrusive fade animation, which
incidentally is the animation every other applet uses. Please make it
use fade.

I am using Jaunty. When the screensaver is active and I move the mouse,
the screensaver does the usual animation seen when you close a window
instead of just fading out. That is distracting and I think should be
changed.

I'm using Brasero 2.25.90 on Jaunty. It shows two menu entries:
-apps→ sound and video→ brasero
-apps → system tools → disc burner
The latter seems to open a nautilus window showing the cd creator, whose
launcher used to be in the places menu

When the user connects a DVB card, nothing happens apparently. Even
though DVB can be watched with Totem right away, nothing gives a hint to
the user. I think that Totem should start automatically in DVB mode or,
at least, spawn a dialogue window

I am using the latest nautilus on Jaunty. Last night I had to rip
several audio CDs, and with every new CD I inserted an additional icon
showed up on the desktop. I'm attaching a screenshot of when I had
inserted the 6th or 7th CD.
