[Bug 64746] Re: deskbar-applet does not correctly handle search queries that contain spaces

2006-10-08 Thread Jeremy Teale
Just confirming this. I don't know if this will be passed upstream or if
others will even consider this a bug, but it does seem inconsistent
that, say, the Wikipedia handler will pass the entire query, while the
dictionary will not. Although words with whitespace aren't all that
common, they exist.

[Bug 64746] Re: deskbar-applet does not correctly handle search queries that contain spaces

2006-10-08 Thread Jeremy Teale
I just realized how stupid that sounds. What I'm trying to say is,
dictionary queries that include whitespace aren't all that common as
dictionaries usually contain single-word terms. Yet some valid terms,
like Et Cetera, in a dictionary do contain whitespace.

[Bug 123932] Re: Non-standard units, inconsistent with other GNOME apps

Unfortunately, this has already been rejected upstream. If you feel
strongly about this, the best place would be to push your case at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=318718 . I'll mark this as
Won't Fix in accordance with the unwillingness of the upstream author to
make these changes.

[Bug 124172] Rhythmbox complains of missing totem-plparser shared object

2007-07-05 Thread Jeremy Teale
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Rhythmbox seems to be using an incorrect version of a libtotem-plparser shared

[Bug 124135] Re: crash nautilus mountin cd/dvd

2007-07-05 Thread Jeremy Teale
Are you simply inserting a CD that causes this crash? Or are you doing
something with the nautilus CD creator first?

Thanks for the backtraces, but please install nautilus-debugsym (and
libglib2.0-0-dbg) as described on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash and try again.

I suspect this may be related to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376553.
