When I insert a blank DVD in my DVD-writer a dialog pops up with the
title Choose Disc Type. However, the actions presented are Ignore
and Make DVD. I feel that this popup's title is wrong; perhaps Choose
Action or Blank DVD inserted would be more accurate.

No, because the partition (/dev/hdb5) is detected correctly as
vfat/FAT32. The label lshal shows, however, is bogus.

Exactly, it never had a label in the first place, and I don't want it to
have one. Mtools reports no label. In Dapper it had no label, in Edgy it
still has no label, but a bogus one gets reported.

relieved when they see Deja Vu Sans Condensed as the default font. It

I have a rudimentary firewall on my dsl modem/router but it does not affect
