I think it is linked to cairo rendering as I have the same problem on the same
computer when loading some pages in firefox (I had no problem before upgrade).

Since I upgraded from gutsy to hardy on my laptop, switching to
evolution, deleting an e-mail, changing folder has been very slow. CPU
usage jumps to more than 50% when doing just that.
I have an ATI GPU and the problem can be reproduced with both fglrx and

This is getting ridiculous... Why don't we simply revert this update and
try to find a solution in testing or proposed repository. This bug
affects too many people who are supposed to use a production version of

I could reproduce it in terminator et gnome-terminal.
Not in xterm or virtual console.

In the current Evolution 2.25.91 shipping with jaunty, I have both the
Evolution mail notification plugin and the same functionality already
offered in Evolution's settings. This is misleading and the plugin
should go away now.

Steps to reproduce :
1) add an authentified FTP bookmark using Places-Connect to server
(give it a name and a default directory)
2) open nautilus and go to bookmars-edit bookmarks and change something
in the ftp uri

In jaunty, with two monitors configured with xrandr when maximizing a
window it spans to both monitors which makes it unusable (particulary
because de second monitor has a different resolution). I don't know if
it's a regression as I didn't have the second monitor at the
