This bugreport got non-actionable in the meantime I am afraid; we should
close it as per comment 33, because fixes of 2 problems were already
provided, and also the information about the Ignore system input
language seems to be helpful.
If there are still trouble with the shortcuts, please file
Huck-bernhard, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding what exactly
isn't working out. Comparing Evince to Adobe Acrobat, I see no content,
or functional difference between the two programs. Could you please
advise to this?

Hans L, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to
make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been
fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Vivid Vervet.
This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in
