Evince package that comes with the updated version of Ubuntu 13.10 is
having some bugs. It doesn't open .ps and .eps files properly. If we
rotate the document using ctrl+left or ctrl+right then we see the
rotated version of the document.

qpdfview 0.4.3-1 doesn't open ps and eps files properly in ubuntu 13.10.
I've updated my computer but still the problem persists. I've tested
these files in another computer with ubuntu 12.04 LTS installed in it.
The files opened there without any problem.

Here is an eps file i couldn't open. There were no problems opening this
file on another computer which has ubuntu 12.04 lts.

yes. i read in ubuntu forums also. There also it is mentioned that it is
a bug in ghostscript.

very unfortunate...
because. the same file could be opened in a previous version of evince. If
it was broken, that shouldn't have been possible. I don't think its a
problem with gnuplot.
