people simply close their laptop lid and put it in their laptop bag. If

I was able to successfully verify the package in -proposed.
I started with a Lucid VM with the latest released updates. When
following the steps in the original report, I got the error message.
After updating to the package in -proposed and rebooting, I could now
edit and save the user successfull
I have successfully verified the update in -proposed. With lucid VM and
all updates, changing the UID of a user to 999 didn't update
/etc/passwd. After installing the update in -proposed, I could
successfully change it to 999, at which point the user wasn't available
in the GUI anymore.

Outlook uses Internet Explorer as its renderer for HTML email. Disabling
the preview pane in Outlook would prevent it from rendering HTML mail
with the Internet Explorer engine which contained multiple security
issues.
