This is probably a parsing error in evolution. I know amp is actually
some sort of HTML or Javascript thing. Apparently however (from
googling), Netflix shouldn't be putting in their URLs, either. It's
not technically wrong but is not recommended.

Hi Andrew, the other bug talks of the clock not appearing when Google
Calendar is running. Numerous users have reported here that gnome-panel
freezes and it has nothing to do with Google Calendar. The
Backtrace attached. Firefox does not crash on the same page. It's a
microsoft office communicator web site. Given they use the same
rendering engine it's a little weird. The previous version of epiphany
handled it fine, too.

I think the medium classification for this is too low. This can really
impact your system. If you don't have a terminal window open and no
shortcut to one on the desktop you are effectively locked up. Alt+F2
fails me in this situation, too.

I'm confirming this exact behavior under Hardy Beta. I can see events
but I cannot make changes. Error messages:

Pretty much confirmed it is the Global Catalog Name Server setting for
me. If it's available (via VPN), Evolution is down right speedy. If it
is not, it takes forever to load.
This should time out much faster, or better yet, only try to contact it
when doing things in the Global Address book

I can confirm this in the latest evolution package (13-Mar-2008).
Unplugged Ethernet cable, saw evolution go offline, plugged cable back
in and waited a few minutes. Network came back but evolution never did.

Are you running compiz (Advanced Desktop Effects turned on?). I remember

Epiphany 2.21.90 (Hardy Alpha 5) can't import bookmarks from any source
It's working OK for me. I was able to open the bookmarks.html file and
import directly from firefox 3.0 and swiftweasel, which is firefox 2.0.

This morning I had some updates available and ran them. It was a
distribution upgrade. It removed evolution-common as being an unused
package. Evolution is now not available AND I cannot reinstall it

like it's cheap movie theater popcorn. In about 4 hours today it grew
to 1.5GB virtual and 1.0GB resident. Restarting it and opening the same

I can also confirm this in Hardy and report installing the packages
recommended in the thread does not work. The headset worked in Feisty,
but did not work in either Gutsy (or now Hardy).

It's pretty simple actually. I run evolution (exchange mode), the main
window with the folders has no title bar, scroll bars, etc.
The program functions, but I can't move, resize, or close the window
using the standard window buttons.

and it doesn't do anything. However, disabling compiz fixes the problem
in evolution. However, like I said previously, all the other
applications are running correctly under compiz (as was evolution until
