Another case; this time it happened off the 10.04 live CD but I have seen crashes also on a hard-disk install. It seems it always happens under heavy load, e.g. when opening many files. In this case, it was after 2.4 GiB of a 9.1 GiB copy job from a CIFS share to a local disk. -- gvfsd-smb
