They've fixed it in GTK+3 only, that's why in MATE GTK+3
mate-display-properties doesn't crash.

When I've tried to open a file [1], Glade crashed. Upon further
investigation I've found an upstream commit [2] from Glade 3.8.4 which
fixes the crashes with Glib
Additional note: the patched vte has been tested in mate-terminal,
roxterm-gtk2, lxterminal. Alternate screen scroll is now working in all
these apps.

Ah dammit! Linux Mint 17 has file-roller 3.6.3 pinned, and due to the
higher priority of the Mint repo you don't get the upstream version
which is newer (3.10.2.1). The older file-roller 3.6.3 has no proper
support for unrar 5.0, and this is the cause of this bug. Install file-
roller 3.10.2.1 to
Reassigned it to Mint since we don't have a fix here yet, only a
workaround.
