Is Evolution configured with your POP3/IMAP servers? Is everything set
up correctly? Is your SMTP server also configured? Also, make sure you
hit send/receive after you have finished with your message, Evolution
does not send until you tell it to.

Couldn't this be simply done with piping? Unless I'm not understanding, you
could ps aux | less just fine, couldn't you? Or you could use the and
operators. For reference:

It seems, rather than completely disregarding this, there should be a
standard for this kind of thing. All Gnome apps should have unified key
settings (ctrl+t opening a new tab, for instance.) Its up for debate.

Thanks for the bug report. The reason it displays weird characters is because
that is a gzipped text file. Ti un-gzip, type the following:
gunzip manual.txt.gz
After this, you can read the file normally.
