[Bug 504698] Re: gnome-screensaver locks up the machine after putting screen in power-save mode

2010-07-02 Thread Ricardo Bánffy
Minor issue still happens - when displays are arranged at exactly 2048
pixels wide, the visual effects are dropped. I understand this should
not necessary since the display controller deals with up to 2048 pixels.

I am using Lucid with standard packages.

[Bug 533802] [NEW] Workspace switcher turns into one line when adding a second monitor

2010-03-07 Thread Ricardo Bánffy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Under Karmic, when adding a second monitor, my workspace switcher turns
from 2x2 to 1x4. Invoking preferences shows it's still set to 2x2 and
changing them corrects the problem and restores the switcher to the set
configuration. It then can be restored to 2x2.

[Bug 504698] Re: gnome-screensaver locks up the machine after putting screen in power-save mode

2010-01-08 Thread Ricardo Bánffy
It happened with colorfire screensaver too and all instances of the
screensaver in both cases were initiated by gnome-screensaver parent
process

** Summary changed:

- cubicgrid screensaver locks up the machine after putting screen in power-save
mode
+ gnome-screensaver locks up the machine after putting screen in power-save mode

** Package changed: xscreensaver (Ubuntu) = gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu)
