[Bug 620658] Re: evince pdf printing problem (renders fine)

2010-11-15 Thread Robert Hall
I can confirm this issue. The center column is not rendered correctly
under Print Preview.

Version affected:

~$ apt-cache policy evince
evince:
  Installed: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 2.32.0-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Also, I arrived to this bug report because certain PDF files produced by LateX
are displayed correctly in Evince main window, but not in Print Preview (and
therefore, not in printed paper.) Seem to be the same issue.

[Bug 409828] Re: Empathy shows wrong icon for notifications

2009-11-22 Thread Robert Hall
Using Karmic 9.10:

~$ aptitude show empathy
Package: empathy
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 2.28.1.1-0ubuntu1

~$ aptitude show notify-osd-icons
Package: notify-osd-icons
State: installed
Automatically installed: no
Version: 0.3

The only icon that is missing is the one triggered when there's a new incoming
message. I get the same icon as the one depicted in #11 posts' attachment.
Is this the same bug or a misconfiguration in our part?

Email that can't be stopped is the definition of spam. This is a poor
